The project was submitted to the international competition “Les gares de l’Europe à grande Vitesse” arriving to the final phase and receiving the jury special mention. It’s about the macro and micro urbanistic implications in terms of renovation for the city of Girona-Salt, in the north of Spain, following the approaching of hi-speed AVE train. Various options of macro railway trace entering the city and the location of the station are examinated, in ordere to make the better choice from the territorial and urban point of view. The project was debated with local administration in public seminars and publications.
